Real Estate Blogger Hat Trick Award

There are numerous awards throughout the real estate blogging community, rebloggershattrickaward such as Carnival of Real Estate and the The Odysseus Medal .  Many more can be found, but none seem to go to the quantity of good quality content, so I am starting the Real Estate Blogger Hat Trick Award.

I have always enjoyed ice hockey and that is, of course, where the title comes from.  In hockey, if a person scores 3 or more goals in a single game, they achieved a "hat trick".  So, this award will be to the blogger that achieves 3 or more quality posts in a single week.

There are rules and they will be semi strict in order to preserve the prestige of the award.  Here they are (subject to change without notice):

  1. The blog posts must be of real estate or related material (can be financial or economy, etc. so long as it relates)
  2. The blogger cannot nominate himself or herself.  Someone else must recognize the quality and submit the request for recognition (for now via an email to me).
  3. A post will be created on my site highlighting that blogger and their posts for that week based on the submission.
  4. Readers of the post will get to vote via comments.  You will need at least 5 comments stating why you deserve it in order to be awarded the "trophy".  Comments will be open for one week after the post.
  5. All nominees will be posted the same day, usually Monday, so check back at least once per week to see who is in the running for the award and make sure to vote via comment for those you think are worthy.

That is where this award is going for now.  I welcome any suggestions to make it more prestigious as the nominations grow.  I will keep the rules above updated if they change.
